Glasgow being the main harbor city in Scotland used to be the place where goods from all over the world would be shipped rst and then distributed to other cities in the UK. This inuenced my decision of making a short lm about diacritical marks moving around. Thinking about the leftovers of the past I decided tofilm animated letters projected in two locations; one of them was a common industrial looking Glasgow landscape, another one was a building that used to be a warehouse to keep goods that were shipped to Glasgow. Combining two screens I have created a film that reflects how many different languages could be found in Glasgow in the past.
